2014 Sockeye Run
Join Our Club
I'll say it again.
Join our Club!
Because YOU could make the difference in somebody's life. Somebody . . . who lives in your community, somebody . . . who lives just down the street from you, somebody . . . who needs help but has slipped between the cracks of life.
It doesn't at a big commitment. Just a couple hours a week (heck it's not a career!).
Maybe you're already making a difference - on your own. Imagine if you could multiply your efforts by the size of this club.
Make a difference.
The Richmond Lions Club, located in the greater Vancouver area of British Columbia in Canada, has been a charter club of Lions Clubs International since 1946.
The Lions motto is "We Serve", and our club has been serving many deserving causes in the Richmond community since our charter was established.
The Richmond Lions Sockeye run is entering its 25thyear! That's twenty-five years of bringing together some of the most beautiful and lovingly maintained cars in the BC lower mainland.
Don't have a car? That's okay. Come out and enjoy the day. Bring a camera, and bring your dad!

And not just any fruit cakes, but some of the best your money can buy!
These are 900g (2 lbs) of moist dark cake, loaded with fruit. Every cake comes protected in plastic in a decorative tin and just to make gift wrapping easy, each tin comes in a festive coloured box.
Know somebody who likes fruit cake? - Get them one for Christmas.
And while you're at it, dont forget to buy yourself one also.
Fruit cakes also make great corporate gifts.
Every year the Richmond Lions club works with the Vancouver South Lions club to sell Christmas trees.
Short trees, tall trees, thick bushy trees and Charlie Brown trees. We have them all.
Why Buy a Lions Club Tree?
- Our prices are competive to or better than retail store prices.
- Our tree selection is way better.
Look to the Lions club tree lot for Douglas Firs, Plantation Firs, Grand Firs, Fraser Firs, Blue Spruce, and, occaisonally Scotch Pines.
- Our trees are Canadian grown and represent a renewable tradition.
- And the best part is all the money we raise goes right back into the community.
Everybody working at the tree lot is a volunteer and every dollar we make from Christmas tree sales goes toward making a better community. From the money pledged to John Oliver for the use of their schoolyard to the many Lions supported projects, you can feel good about purchasing this tree.
For your next Christmas tree look no futher than the Vancouver South Lions Club tree lot.
You can find us at John Oliver Secondary on the corner of Fraser St and 41st Ave. in Vancouver.
