On June 30, 2009 the Steveston Lions and the Richmond Lions officially became one service club. The name Richmond Lions was chosen to go forward.

The Richmond Lions Club has been active for over sixty years. A lifetime of serving the community. The Richmond Lions club has also been the seed organization for several local Lions charters.
In good times and in bad the club has been dedicated to assisting those within our community, who through no fault of their own, who need a little extra help.

The Steveston Lions Club has been a vital part of the Steveston community for over thirty-five years. In those 35 years the club was active in the community cooking breakfasts for many community social events and putting the very popular annual Sockeye Run Show'n'Shine.
