Lions Day Recognition

Dear Fellow Lions:
On March 16, our Lions clubs in Richmond have received the Lions Day Proclamation from the hand of Mayor of Richmond. This event was chaired by Lion Lucy Quinn and Lion Martin Yeung of Richmond Chinatown. I want to thank them for all the hard work in putting this event together and making it go smooth all the way. Also, my special thanks to Mayor Malcolm, the staff of the Richmond City Hall without their assistance, we will not have such a memorable day.
It is the recognition from the City of Richmond to the six Lions Clubs in Richmond in serving the communities for the past years. Actually, we have tried to request the Cities of Delta and White Rock, unfortunately, these cities don't proclaim this due to their by-laws. I am sending the Proclamation and pictures to you so that you can share some of the excitment with us.
Once again, my appreciation to all the Lions members who participated in this important event to make it a successful one and continusously serving the communities.
