28th Annual Sockeye Run

June 10, 2018

The 28th annual Sockeye Run Car Show is rapidly approaching. This year we have new classes to better fit the range of cars we have enter the show each year. Our Chevrolet, Mustang, Corvette, and European classes have been split by a year divide.

As with previous years we will be offering online registration. We need to complete a couple of details before we could turn on the registration. Expect to see registration available soon.

Every year we offer t-shirts featuring cars from previous years shows.

Besides so exquisitely finish cars, the children's attractions are a yearly favourite. Last year Rob Danzel ran our race track where two hundred and fifty children raced cars on the exclusive Hot Wheels race track and received new Hot Wheels Cars and Pirate Pack coupons courtesy of White Spot. Twenty other children attended a model building work shop where they were taught the hobby of building models by volunteers, Rick McEwan, Steve Holloway.

The Richmond Lions Club would like to thank all the volunteers, car owners and sponsors. White Spot restaurant at #3 and Ackroyd, Save-On-Foods Group and River Rock Casino went out of their way to assist in the 2017 Sockeye Run.
